Global WiFi now available for Windows Phone 8

Today the Global WiFi client for Windows Phone 8 was released. The new app provides employees with seamless connectivity to the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi network of more than 1.4 million hotspots, including in-flight Internet, hotels, airports and business venues around the world.

The app is available as a free download from the Windows Store.

iPass WiFi for Windows Phone 8 offers key features such as:

  • Wi-Fi connectivity: Allows users to access the iPass Mobile Network, with over 1.4 million hotspots around the world.
  • Hotspot Finder: Lookup utility to find and map out hotspots near the user or in a particular geographic location.
  • Speed Test: Helps the user test their connection for compatibility with VoIP, video and other apps.
